Dragon horns are erogenous zones. I learned that the first time I touched his.
I was just trying to play a song.
One duet in a music store, and I accidentally triggered a golden dragon’s feral transformation—and turned him into a soul-hungry beast obsessed with me. Now he’s stuck in his monstrous form, and the only thing that brings him back is my touch.
Specifically: his horns.
More specifically: the way I make him feel when I really let go.
The creatures that attacked him—Fate hounds—aren’t finished. They’re hunting others now. His bandmates are next, and the only way to save them might be the same way I saved him.
By bonding.
By giving in.
By making them mine.
But I was born without a soul. Girls like me aren’t supposed to have soulmates—let alone five.
So why do all of them look at me like I’m the one thing they’ve been waiting for?

I read this book several years ago and picked it up to reread the full series of stories again recently. Ophilia Bell's books are always different from other stories I have read and have wonderful world building. It is actually a real book rather than just a novella and as a result has a lot of details, twists and turns and a plot. I particularly like dragon shifter romances and the reverse harem trope, so this story works well for me.
Fate's Fools
This is the start to another great series by Ophelia Bell that you won’t want to miss reading! It’s a wonderful spin-off from the Immortal Dragons Series that will keep you spellbound to find out what’s going to happen. Your sympathy will go out to Deva as her “soul-less” predicament is truly heartbreaking and is interfering with her sense of worth and entitlement to bond with the mate(s) she’s “fated” to have. Speaking of fate—wow fate is definitely throwing a monkey wrench into her life and has become one of the main “characters” in this story.
Book 1 of Fate’s Fools by Ophelia Bell
Deva is a mysterious being that has no soul but a massive heart that she wants to give to other people but Deva feels lost especially when she finds out the Bloodline have been attacked and there soul is leaking.
A lot happens and new characters are introduced which does get problematic to keeping track.
New band mates make up Fates Fools and then becomes very intense and very intimate between all characters.
I’ve struggled a lot with this book I did feel like I was being stringed along for awhile but I also struggled with the intense prolonged courting between Deva and her group of lovers, nothing developed permanently till like 90% of the book.
I was worried this book would stalemate but OMG to kept me hook whole way through and I have given 5 ⭐️ even though I absolutely hate cliffhangers.
Just finished the audiobook and it was even better then the ebook. The narrators were fantastic but it brought the book and characters to life so much. Really looking forward to other fates fools being made into audiobook
